Happy New Year! My name is Lucy and I was dropped off at a shelter right before the holidays, so I’m bringing in the New Year with a whole new life all together. Upon arrival to CRGI, I have not looked back.
I have a wonderful temperament to match my beautiful looks. I am friendly, have an outgoing personality, and seem to be a real “people” dog. I enjoy being the center of the party and meeting everyone. I’m very social with my four-legged foster siblings too, but I play a bit rough, so I need some more social interactions to learn how to play more respectfully.
I am only 2 years old, so I will need some obedience training to become a good canine citizen. I am very smart and have learned sit and will sometimes down on command. I’m a work in progress. I need work on leash training, but I don’t think it will take very long due to my very pleasing personality.
I am crate trained and housebroken 100%. I have had no accidents in my foster home.
I do have a lot of energy since I am a young dog and I would do best in a home where I can enjoy long walks, playing with other dogs or other vigorous activity, and a fenced in yard to play safely.
If you can provide a little guidance, this multi-faceted girl is ready to shine for you!
