Every day is an adventure for Celine, who came to us from a home where she was primarily kept outside and was free to roam. She still loves being outside and it is important that she get two to three walks a day, particularly because she prefers to take potty breaks while on the go, rather than in the backyard.

While she is still learning some things, like how to walk nicely on a leash and how to get into a car, she is really good at so many other things. Celine can be a counter surfer, but if everything is put away, she can be trusted to be alone and does not need a crate. She is also really good for grooming. Celine isn’t much of a barker, only when she needs something or wants attention. She is independent as a result of her previous home, but her foster mom says that she loves people and is very intelligent and trainable.

Along with her foster mom and dad, Celine lives with canine siblings and a feline sibling, and she gets along with everyone and gives kisses freely, or at least as many as the cat will tolerate. She also loves to get attention from her humans, and particularly enjoys belly rubs. When she meets new animals she may snap at them first but that quickly subsides as she gets more comfortable.

To help Celine to continue on her adventures, she would do well with an active, high-energy family/person willing to keep up with Celine’s need to go on walks. It is necessary to have a fence to keep this little roamer safe from wandering off on her own.
