Finn

Adopted

6 Months

49 lbs
Fenced yard required

At five months old, everything is new to Finn but he is learning the ways of the world and is having fun doing it. Finn was a little bit unsure and reserved when he arrived but NOW his foster mom says he loves to play with people and especially with other dogs, like his canine foster sibling.

Finn is a cuddler and will curl up right on top of you, or he will just want to be touching and will sit down on your foot.  He isn’t a big barker, but when he does, it is powerful.  According to his foster mom, Finn is a very laid back fellow.  One of his favorite things to do is go to his favorite spot and lay down, which she says he does a lot.

This sweet sable is doing pretty well with his potty training.  There have been some accidents but he is taken out frequently and gets rewarded when he goes outside.  Finn doesn’t mind being in a crate, sometimes he will go in there to just lay down and it is also where he eats and sleeps at night.  Due to some chewing, he hasn’t been left alone for extended periods.  He has learned to go upstairs, but he is working on being able to come back down.

While Finn will need help with learning commands, he does know ‘sit’ and ‘crate,’ and when he wanders off inside the house, he responds to ‘Finn, no’ by coming back.  Most noises don’t seem to bother him but he might be a little scared of thunder.  A fenced backyard would be preferable as he has lots of puppy energy but doesn’t like to walk on a leash yet.

Finn is looking for a forever family to continue teaching him new things, you just need lots of energy and even more love!
