Ranger

Adopted

1 Years

Ranger is a young and sweet boy. He loves to run and play with other dogs and is doing well with the resident cats. Ranger is quite intrigued by the guinea pig. He is bit nervous about loud noises and new people so he will require a family that will understand his behavior and teach him to be more confident.

At first Ranger was bit unsure of his foster mom but became quite comfortable with her. Now when his foster mom is cuddling and softly talking to him, sweet Ranger gives love nibbles.

Ranger is afraid of loud noises and new people. He’ll bark at the them, pace a bit and keep his distance. It will take some time for him to get more relaxed and less fearful so, for that reason, he’ll require a family that will understand his behavior and teach him to be more confident.

To keep him safe when he gets startled by unfamiliar sounds or people, we would prefer a fenced in yard in his forever home.

Ranger would greatly benefit from having another playful dog as he’s young and active. His foster mom reports that he loves to run around with the younger resident dog.

Ranger doesn’t know any commands and will need to learn leash proper walking down the road. He’s good in a car and likes his crate; he will stay there willingly when his foster mom is away. He is house trained and doesn’t get into mischief. Ranger is bit underweight at the moment and will need to put on some needed weight. But that should not be a problem as he loves to eat!

A quite home without a lot of activity would be a best fit for Ranger.
