Sierra

Adopted

12 Years

45 lbs

Sierra is a laid back and happy senior girl looking for her forever home. Her previous owner loved her very much but could no longer care for her. Sierra is now looking for a loving family to shower her with attention through her golden years. Her foster mom says that Sierra loves people and is even good with children. She also reports that this sweet girl gets along with other dogs and with cats.

At twelve years old, Sierra is pretty low maintenance, and when it come to the basics, she is good for just about everything. Sierra is great when she gets a bath, she rides well in a car, has no issues walking on a leash, and she can go up and down stairs. Her favorite places to sleep are either on her bed or on the couch. She is a good eater but seemed to have a food allergy, which has gone away with Benadryl and the lamb-based food her foster mom has been feeding her. Sierra has no resource or food guarding issues. When she is outside, she hasn’t attempted to jump the fence, and while a forever home with a backyard would be great, it isn’t required for Sierra. She is good when crated but she hasn’t needed one since she arrived at her foster home. Also, Sierra hasn’t had any housebreaking issues.

In general, Sierra is a pretty quiet girl, except for when it comes to getting a good rub down.  She will make all kinds of crazy sounds and will really love it when you talk to her while doing it; she won’t want you to stop! This sweet and easy-going girl would fit into just about any family, can’t you picture her with yours?
