Cassie is a darling mahogany sable Rough Collie with a heart full of love and manners to match. She’s affectionate, cuddly, and easy to live with—great with kids, cats, and other dogs, excellent on leash, and trustworthy at home. With her calm, typical Collie energy and wonderful recall, Cassie is ready to fit beautifully into a family looking for a loyal, well-mannered companion.

Cassie shines in the everyday moments that make a dog feel like part of the family. She enjoys running and playing, but she does not need excessive exercise, so she’s a lovely match for a home that wants a companion with a nice balance of activity and relaxation. She settles well, likes to stay close to her people, and happily joins in for snuggles, brushing, and bedtime closeness when allowed. She also handles car rides, vet visits, and grooming with ease, and she will step into a crate on her own for short rests.

This sweet girl has done wonderfully around children of all ages, cats, and other dogs, including living peacefully with a resident poodle and ignoring the household cat. She has been reliable in the house when left alone for hours and has excellent off-leash recall. Cassie may notice storms more than other situations, but her foster says it is manageable.
