She’s fully house trained, not a barker, and content with a simple routine that includes short, regular walks and plenty of couch time. Kirby prefers to stay near her adults, soaking up gentle affection and companionship rather than high-energy play. She’s learning to loosen up and play a bit from her foster siblings, but her favorite role is quiet, loyal companion.

Kirby has made remarkable progress with her foster home. Her prior years outside took a toll, but with physical therapy and pain medication, she is living her best life, safe and warm and loved. A fenced yard is always desirable, but she doesn’t require it as long as she gets age-appropriate exercise.
