Hi, I’m Jovie. I’m a little girl with a lot to say. I arrived at my foster home a few weeks ago, and I’ve been busy. There are two boys here who kind of look like me, but they aren’t as much fun. I didn’t really know how to play with them; I wanted to jump and play rough, but they didn’t like that. Eventually, I learned that they are older than me, and instead of playing with them, I’m learning from them.

Here are the things I love:

People. I don’t like being alone and I’m always worried that someone is doing something fun without me. I’m the FOMO Queen.
Tummy rubs are my preferred form of petting, but I love any kind of attention. I’m also a fan of getting my tummy brushed.
Food/treats. I even learned how to sit to get a treat.
Going on a walk is so much fun! I especially love when people stop and pet me and tell me how sweet and pretty I am. They aren’t wrong.
My snuffle mat and lick mat are awesome; they help me get out energy, especially when the weather is icky.
Running around the back yard with sticks. I also like to run around the house with toys.
Things I don’t like:

My crate. It’s ok for sleeping in, but it keeps me separated from the people I love, and I get upset when I’m in it and they leave. I eventually settle down and take a nap, but I’d prefer not to be in it.
I love treats (see above), but I don’t like it when my brothers get one too, I think all should all be mine, and I try to take them away.
I’m looking for a home that is willing to give me a lot of attention. I’m young and still learning manners. My foster mom says I need to be more patient and not jump so much. I’d like to go to school to help me learn more. I’m good with other dogs, but I would really prefer to be the only one in the house. I’m also good with kids, but I like to jump a lot, so I’d do best with older kids and teenagers. I’m a lot of fun, so I’m hoping someone who also likes to have fun will take me home and be my best friend.
